PAICR in the NewsContact: Kaitlin Welch COMMUNICATIONS PROFESSIONALS TO EXPLORE NEW FRONTIERS IN INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT AT PAICR’S 9TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ – August 13, 2007 – The Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources (PAICR) has announced that its 9th Annual Conference will be held on September 20-21, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Times Square in New York City. PAICR, an association of professionals in various marketing and communications roles in the investment management industry, holds several educational events throughout the year providing insight into current topics affecting the investment management industry. This year’s theme “The New Frontier: Moving Forward and Adapting to Tomorrow’s Environment,” signifies PAICR’s forward-thinking attitude towards changes in the investment industry and how this will impact members’ changing roles. The conference will feature two keynote speakers, both of whom will address the PAICR membership on ways to adapt to the changing frontiers of the industry as a result of several critical global trends. On September 20, David Bauer from Casey Quirk & Associates will open the conference with his speech “Changing Industry Dynamics,” offering insight into how investors are altering their investment frameworks, what types of products will be successful, what new business models may arise, among other issues. On September 21, Chris Trani from Another Possibility, a popular past speaker, will give a second keynote speech entitled “Coping with Organizational Change and Transition.” Drawing on her 30 years of experience engaging groups in conscious conversations about change, including 11 years spent as a coach/consultant in the investment industry, Trani will teach PAICR members how to adapt to changes effectively and utilize those valuable tools to achieve success both professionally and personally. As with prior PAICR conferences, the 9th Annual Conference will also feature a variety of workshops and roundtables, where members will have the opportunity to network, learn and further enhance their communication skills. Workshops will feature consultants, plan sponsors, and marketing directors sharing their insights on industry expectations.
