PAICR in the NewsContact: Kaitlin Welch PAICR WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBERS Martingale Asset Management’s Jill Brogan Elected PAICR Chairperson PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ – February 27, 2007 – The Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources, (PAICR), has announced several additions to its Board of Directors for 2007. Jill Brogan, Vice President of Marketing & Client Relations at Martingale Asset Management, has been elected to the position of PAICR Chairperson, while four PAICR members were also elected to the Board of Directors: Cara Crosetti, Manager of Communication Services at Capital Guardian Trust Company, Deann Geistler, Investment Product Advisor at Principal Global Investors, Gretchen Luebke, Business Development Director at JanusIntech Institutional Asset Management and Gloria Vitro, Marketing Support Manager at William Blair & Company, LLC. “I am honored to have the opportunity to work with such a hard-working group of professionals,” said Michael Kay, President of PAICR. “I believe that during this exciting time for PAICR, we’ll continue to raise the bar by empowering and educating our peers involved in marketing and communications roles in the investment management industry.” Jill Brogan, PAICR’s newly elected Chairperson, has been a PAICR member since 1999, and has attended many of its conferences over the years. Seeing a need for exploring the challenges of marketing professionals at small firms, Jill decided to step away from the sidelines and volunteer for PAICR’s conference planning committee. “I learned quickly that all it takes is a little spark to get the ball rolling and start a dialogue. It was refreshing to learn there were others at smaller firms who were dealing with similar issues. Conferring with peers is one of PAICR’s unique strengths.” In four years of volunteering for PAICR, Jill has been a board member for two years and has co-chaired two conferences. PAICR members comprise a broad cross-section of professionals involved in all aspects of investment communications. Cara Crosetti, Manager of Communication Services at Capital Guardian Trust Company, has spent over 15 years working within the marketing and advertising industries. Deann Geistler is an Investment Product Advisor for Principal Global Investors; she is in charge of producing quality marketing materials including requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and consultant and industry periodical questionnaires. Leading the business development team at Janus, Gretchen Luebke is responsible for proposal creation, consultant/third-party database management and client support, across Janus's institutional and intermediary businesses on a global scale. Gloria Vitro is the Marketing Support Manager for the Investment Management Division of William Blair & Company managing the RFP, presentation of materials/graphics, and consultant database teams. Through PAICR membership, investment communications professionals explore and share strategies to anticipate market needs and seize the momentum of future advantage—for themselves and their organizations.
