FRANKLIN TEMPLETON INSTITUTIONAL SWEEPS PEER EXHIBIT AND CONTEST AT PAICR’S 9TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Princeton Junction, NJ – September 27, 2007 – Members of the Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources (PAICR) recently showcased their work at the 9th Annual PAICR Conference, held September 19-21, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Times Square in New York City. Franklin Templeton Institutional’s marketing materials were voted “Best in Show.”

The conference featured a Peer Exhibit on RFP Response packaging and Presentation packaging. Attendees were invited to submit their firm’s presentation – including cover design, sample pages, tabs, and back cover design. Conference attendees were invited to view exhibits on display and to vote for “Best in Show.” Winners were selected in each category based on the exhibit that received the most votes over the course of the two-day conference. Entries in both the RFP Response and Presentation packaging categories submitted by Diana Gaither, vice president of Global Marketing Communications at Franklin Templeton Institutional, were named the winners.

“Congratulations to Franklin Templeton Institutional on sweeping this year’s contest,” said Michael Kay, president of PAICR. “PAICR members have really come to look forward to this peer review opportunity and I feel it brings out a friendly competitive spirit.”

PAICR began to feature peer exhibits in 2005. Past Peer Exhibits have included fact sheets, performance presentations, and organization charts.

At this year’s PAICR conference, entitled “The New Frontier: Moving Forward and Adapting to Tomorrow’s Environment,” members participated in various educational events offering insight into current topics affecting the investment industry. The conference featured a variety of workshops, roundtables and general sessions. During the educational sessions, PAICR members learned from expert and peer-lead panel discussions.
