PAICR MARKS INAUGURATION OF NORTH AMERICAN EXPANSION WITH MEETING OF INVESTMENT COMMUNICATIONS PROFESSIONALS IN TORONTO

PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ – June 1, 2006 – The Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources, (PAICR), an association of professionals in various marketing and communications roles in the investment management industry, will mark their expansion into Canada with PAICR Canada’s Inaugural Event, to take place June 19, 2006 in Toronto, Canada. Investment communications professionals from all over Canada will be welcomed to the new PAICR network from 7:30 am to 11:00 am at Manulife Financial, 200 Bloor Street East in Toronto.

Michael Kay, President of PAICR, will address the meeting and outline its vision, goals, membership benefits and activities. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with colleagues and share ideas on future activities for PAICR in Canada.

“We are very pleased to extend the PAICR network in Canada. Toronto is one of the fastest growing financial centers in the world so it makes perfect sense to expand the organization northward,” said Kay.

The first meeting of PAICR Canada is free of charge, thanks to sponsorship provided by MFC Global Investment Management. The event will begin with breakfast and then move onto a workshop program. Members and potential members must register ahead of time, as space is limited.
